Denver,Co- The Northfield High School girls varsity basketball team is heading to the CHSAA 6A Final Four. In a huge playoff matchup, the Northfield Nighthawks defeated the Riverdale Ridge Ravens 66-59 at the Denver Coliseum, securing their spot in the next round of the state tournament.
Northfield was led by Madison Bethel, who finished with 21 points. London Taylor added 16 points, while Faith Nelson chipped in 10 as the Nighthawks put together a balanced offensive effort.

Riverdale Ridge had an outstanding performance from Brihanna Crittendon, who poured in 41 points in what would be her final high school game. Despite her huge scoring night, the Ravens came up short against Northfield.
Crittendon's 41-point performance added another major moment to an already historic high school career. She finished her career as Colorado's all-time leading scorer, making her final game one to remember despite the loss.
Northfield, meanwhile, stayed composed throughout the playoff battle and made the plays it needed down the stretch to come away with the 66-59 victory.
The win sends the Nighthawks to the CHSAA 6A Final Four, putting them just two wins away from a state championship.
For Northfield, the postseason run continues. For Riverdale Ridge, the season ends with Crittendon leaving behind a historic legacy in Colorado girls basketball.
